“Ah Sure It’ll Be Grand” is a song about watching people ignore the problems we’re facing today, staying quiet instead of speaking up.
I wrote this song to highlight not only corruption in Ireland, but also the side of ourselves that laughs things off, stays silent, and allows too much to continue, especially in Government.
With humour and a healthy dose of sarcasm, this song exposes the Irish habit of saying “sure it’ll be grand” while problems continue to grow around us.
